First ever WHOLE homecooked meal in Orlando. As me and Elspeth bought a packet of 4 chicken breast and they are going to expire soon... we decided to finish them up so we each took two and we ate this for our lunch and dinner combine. i fried an egg, boiled broccoli, sauteed onions, cooked one chicken breast in soy sauce and pan fried the other with oil, salt and pepper. Thank God my chicken are juicy and tasteful haha. But it was a damm filling meal. after that, me and elspeth went for a 2 hour walk around the shops near our apartment to digest our food.
Today the whole lot of us were on leave as we had to settle our social security card in the morning. After that, we went to some sort of a Chinatown in orlando. We had to take a damm long bus ride down but it was all worth.
First Asian Meal in Orlando.. Me, elspeth, fang and yangling shared a meal of chicken congree, noodle in beef stew, charsiew fried rice and char siew rice. It was good... but as usual quite ex but worth it as the portion size damm big.
First ever seen bubble tea shop in Orlando.
When we saw the sign board... ZHEN ZU NAI CHA... everyone started screaming as we all wanted to drink bubble tea but when we entered the shop happily.. we walked out disappointedly haha. cos one cup of bubble tea cost $3.95 US DOLLARS haha so damm ex so we all decided to control and wait till we are back in Singapore then we drink like there is no tomorrow haha. i am so missing KOI BUBBLE TEA!! it rocks la ..
These are what i have managed to buy from the chinese stores at the So called Chinatown... I AM SO HAPPY !!!! I managed to get my garlic, Vegetables, Fish Sauce, MEE SUA!!!! and zha cai. So missing my grandma's home cooked food :( :( but now at least with these food i am safe haha
Yesterday i went to wal*mart and bought alot of convenience food. kinda regret buying so much cos i dun really want it now haha but it's okay just take my time to eat so dun have to go stock up anytime soon and can save money!!!
